Best Trim Color For A White Vinyl House With Maroon Shutters?
We live in a CP Morgan track home. Two story, traditional home with white vinyl siding and maroon/wine shutters and door. I want to paint the wood trim a different color than the current white. Suggestions?
I think a creamy yellow, not bright, would look good against the white and the maroon. If you’re not a yellow person, grey always looks good with maroon.
I think your house may look really busy if you add a third color. I would stick with either the white or maroon. What color is the roof? If you choose another color, try it on only one side of the house and stand as far away as possible to get a good look at it for about a week. The colors always look really different on your house than they do on the charts. I have had some really bad experiences trying to give my white house some pizazz. Colors against white really stick out.
Why not carry the Marron through and do it on the trim too? Other wise maybe an olivey green to complement the wine color, like wine leaves?
